Teaching Entrepreneurship through Food Design Thinking
Korean K-12 Education sponsored by Naver
How can we make design and entrepreneurship more relatable and accessible to K-12 students? To tackle this question, we utilized the theme of food to empower students to learn and apply design and entrepreneurship skills in their daily lives. Over 10 weeks, we guided K-12 students in journey-mapping their favorite ingredients, identifying needs in their food experiences through observation and interviews, and devising entrepreneurial solutions and prototypes. Our program was sponsored by Naver, a leading IT company in Korea, and was administered in elementary to high schools throughout the wider Seoul region.
