How would the flavor of a summer night campfire be translated into a tangible form? To explore this idea, we partnered with a local chocolate company called TCHO. Together, we aimed to capture the various sensory experiences, such as a campfire, and turn them into delicious chocolate flavors. Through a one-day pop-out class, we guided students in storyboarding meaningful events and mapping out various sensory ingredients, with a particular focus on the mood. We then prototyped the chocolates physically at TCHO's flavor lab and received valuable feedback from the Chief Chocolate Maker. The result was a unique and delightful sensory experience, captured in the form of delicious chocolate flavors.
