Our research interest lies on the intersection of food, design, and innovation. Current research topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Excavating food needs in large online dataset 
  • Discovering Generation Z’s food needs 
  • Analyzing the new product development process of food startups 
  • Inventing new design methods to enhance human-centered food design 
  • Speculating on future of foods

In the future, we hope to incorporate sustainability into our research agenda and look into sustainable and innovative food practices.
